It has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 with 2 single beds). All principal rooms open onto the terrace and enjoy fabulous ocean views.

The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and in addition there is a second shower room/toilet/bidet.  

The kitchen is fully equipped and everything is included in the price including fridge, washing machine, iron, ironing board, kettle, toaster, microwave oven and full size cooker.

There is an efficient bus network criss-crossing the island but hiring or owning a car is a distinct advantage as it allows you to explore the island. There is a designated parking bay for the apartment in the underground garage.

The local beaches (two have soft golden sand) are about a mile away and can be reached on foot via pathways or by car in a few minutes. 

Madeira is, of course, famous for its levadas. There are over 2000 kilometres of levadas on this beautiful island. There are levada walks for beginners and for more experienced walkers.

Many of the walks take you to the inner island or along the coast where no car can reach and you can experience the real unspoilt Madeiran countryside.

There are 2 golf courses on the island with a third underway. There is a large new leisure centre locally.  Horse riding and water sports are also available.

 
Madeira is a beautiful, quiet island and an ideal 'all year round' location whether on holiday or as a permanent home. It is famous for its all year round mild climate rarely dropping below 15C nor rising much above 25C. Funchal is about 25 minutes away and the airport, about 40 minutes. Both are straightforward journeys.
